What are the negatives to buying a home theater projector?

Projectors are great. Many do not own a cablegram tuner, so you shall need to have an external device like a cable box to melody your TV channels. The bulbs are a bit expensive. As the another person said, you need to be more careful with room lighting. There should be extremely little light on your screen surface. If you fix the legroom up right, projectors can provide a hugely impressive image for not too much money.

the bulbs get dimmer over time most are around 2000-4000 hours and replacements usually hurry around 1/8th the cost of the projector

they get kinda hot but nothing to worry about as they all have built in fans and are designed to run all for extensive amounts of event

the color is nowhere near as graphic or blacks as black by a projector than a good LCD or Plasma. its just not there, personally i think the wow factor of 100" screen or bigger blows people away and they don't even discern.

if you privation to go 1080p they initiate at around $1200, but projectors have a magical way of devising thing visage angelic, how i don't know but i play youtube videos on a 120" and they look fine.

These finishing few might be obvious but i should include them, if they cause have a speaker in it, it sucks buy healthy system, not even good for listening to the news.

they dont locomote with a tuner, so if you want to watch TV via a coax cable you will demand to get a digital converter box, or a DVD or VCR with a tuner in it that you can run the coax through.

OH i forgot to mention they usually only have one of each sign, so when you get that sound scheme move the receiver has all the inputs and switching you will need to get your sources to the projector. When choosing a receiver beware of HDMI "pass though" if it only passes through it will move the audio in the hdmi to the crap speaker within the projector

    thats about it

  2. LCD projectors don't really have a low-end since the technology for even lower quality performance isn't so much different then the high-end, with exceptions to component specifications and resolution features.
No Projector of any quality can do in high light environments, since the very projection of the light source is the display. Reckon reconfiguring the light sources of the environment of the projectors usage then trying to compensate near the projector to the environment, you will find that much more economical.
