The first thing you can perform is to post this wherever it belongs, in Y/A's "Families & Relationships" forum where they are interested in "touchy, feely" questions like this.
This is not the Ann Landers meeting, it's Family Theater Electronics, wherever the discussions are centered around technical home theater system and TV operational and electronics problems.
