I have two recommendations for you and I believe they will add great value to your home cinema.
The first one is the ViewSonic PJD5122, it is as high def as it gets. It work great point and everything about is just great. Plus it is much cheaper than your budget.
The ordinal one is the Optoma HD20, this one is a home building projector that a lot of people advocates. You shall be terribly chuffed with it. You module definately enjoy all the movies you watch on it.
