Pete Putman, Veteran AV Industry Journalist and Analyst, To Mouth at Mitsubishi Line Show in Houston, Texas

IRVINE, CA – Pete Putman CTS, long-time Av industry journalist, analyst, and instructor, will utter a sneak preview of his annual InfoComm Super Tuesday Display Technology Trends presentation at Mitsubishi’s 2012 Consultant & Dealer Expo on May 8 in Houston, Texas.


The Technology Trends meeting at InfoComm is one of the most popular tracks at the show. Over 300 people attended the 2011 case in Orlando, and the session is expected to sell out this year.


Putman, a 30+ year veteran of the AV industry and a journalist for over 25 years, will chitchat about significant trends in showing and interfacing technology that have been announced at the annual Client Electronics Show and the NAB trade show, and however these trends will soul a direct impact on the world of pro AV…or not!


Those trends include organic light-emitting tube (OLED) displays, hybrid display + data interfaces (Thunderbolt), laser projection, wireless HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, AV Bridging, augmented reality (AR) eyewear, and voice and gesture recognition for Ab control systems – plus a few surprises.
