How can i convince my parent to allow Maine to buy a home theatre projector?

This is not the Ann Landers meeting, it's Family Theater Electronics, wherever the discussions are centered around technical home theater system and TV operational and electronics problems.

Does the room have to be that dark to see the picture from a abode theatre projector?

How dark would you say? How come a lot of people dont buy HD projectors instead of tvs since they cost little and have bigger picture?

Is a domestic theatre projector a good choice?
